A Message from our President:
As we look forward, we see opportunity for our bank and Jefferson County. Because of our financial strength and stability, we have built our bank the old fashioned way, through hard work and prudent decision making. We have rejected government funding while continuing to operate our bank in a safe and sound manner while serving the banking needs of Jefferson County.
We have committed capital towards hiring proven banking professionals, development of banking services and a new branch to serve our Woodlawn market. We continue to look for opportunities to better serve our customers with a local community banking approach that is quite different from the approach of our larger competitors. It is safe to say that across the Midwest “Community Banking” is doing well while larger banks have suffered with the risky decisions they have made.
